The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (MG). To be worn on the Glengarry and Tam O'Shanter. Recruited in the Ottawa area, this support regiment (heavy machine guns and mortars) landed on Juno Beach on June 6, 1944 and fought throughout the whole Battle of Normandy, providing support for the different brigades of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division.
