WWII US Army Airborne Command Patch
Here is a one piece Airborne Command patch. Fully embroidered and in near mint condition.
The U.S. Airborne Command Shoulder Patch was created in 1943, and used during WWII to designate smaller Airborne units before they were assigned to a formal division. Units such as the 501st and 506th Parachute Infantry regiments wore this patch before being assigned to the 101st Airborne Division.
