WWII English Tailored 8th Air Force Tunic

Here is an English London tailored 8th Air Force Officer’s “Ike” jacket. Named to a 8th Pilot Frank Thompson.. Pilot wing in bullion thread on a combat blue wool backing over English made ribbon bars. A bullion 8th Air Force patch to the left sleeve with age and wear. US letters are by Firmin of London which are pin backs with Aviation branch insignia not marked pin backs. On the shoulder are 2nd Lieutenant rank maker marked by JR Gaunt London. To the right pocket is an English made Presidential Unit citation with seconds award oak leaf cluster.
Overall condition is good with age related service wear and a few small nicks.
