Here we have a named Bombardier English tailored cut down from a four pocket tunic to the popular styled "Ike" jacket. Size 38L No moth and in good condition Lined in dark green satin. Named to a Bombarier 381st BG 533 Sq.
1.Lieutenant pin back ranks to the shoulders by Meyer New York.
2. US and Avaition Branch insignia to the collars clutch back fixings.
3. Full size 3” Bombardier Wing, pin back in sterling silver.
4. Two medal pin back ribbon bar, Air Medal with silver oak leaf and ETO with star.
5. To the left shoulder an early English made Stubby Wing 8th Air Force patch.
6. Original Extract of orders page listing Arthur carter to the back.
7. Original Crew photo and a hand written note of combat experience flying 700 hours.
8. Original Combat experience record dated 3rd February 1945.
To Lt Arthur Carter (Later Captain) O-557874, enlisted in US Army on 22nd September 1942. Bombardier with 533 Squadron 381st Bomb Group flying B17’s out of Station 167 Ridgewell. Completed 35 missions.
