WWII Denison Smock

A well worn Smock Denison Airborne Troops dated 1943 by John Gordon and Co. Many period repairs, Newey poppers, Tail has been removed, Sargeant stripes to the right arm. This one has seen a lot of action. Cuffs have been replaced. The smock colours are faded with age and service wear. Working half zip is by C&C, two added pockets to the inside.  read more

Here we have a USAAF A2 Flying Jacket in very good condition, leather is in good overall condition with wear to the back (See images) A 320th Squadron Patch to the right front and the name Dave Dixon painted on the left front. WWII Auxilary Territorial Service Cap dated 1942
Here is an ATS issue service cap dated 1942 good size at 7. This pattern of cap is the Second Pattern issued to the ATS during the Second World War and features a brown leather chin strap rather than the earlier serge type. It features a rayon lining as is standard with issue caps and a hard peak.

Here is a named to A F Burch USAAF A2 Flying Jacket, Now here’s the mystery, it has a 18th Bomb Squadron patch (something I can’t explain, may have been transferred) but he was a pilot flying with the 303rd BG Hells’s Angels” 427th SQ in B-17 “Shooting Star” out of Moleswoth (later the aircraft was transferred to the 323BS/91BG Bassingbourn 1/6/43; Missing in Action Stuttgart 6/9/43)
