Grouping of items to 1st Lieutenant Dorothy A. Nickelson US Army Nurse Corps. Served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy with the 5th Army. A native of West Point, Virginia.

The grouping consists of the following items:-
1. Officers Nurse Cap lined in silk, with 1st Lt pin back rank. Generous size measures front to back 11”.
2, 5th Army North Africa Command patch.
3. Matching pair of Officers Nursing Branch insignia in a snowflake pattern made by Amcraft, fitted with early “Phinney” clutches.
4. ETO and Victory pin back medal ribbon.
5. Honorable discharge award in silk tan.
