Here is a WWII USAAF A2 Flying Jacket in very good condition no rips or tears. In great condition, the leather is supple and in a size 38” made by Cable raincoat Co contract W535 ac-23382 dated December 1941(ref Gary Eastman ID Manual plate 20) It has an English made 328th Patch to the left. Zip is a Kwiq waist band and cuffs are original with some wear and age. Lining is original although there is a small water stain (see Images)

93rd Bomb Group 328th Squadron out of Hardwick, station 104, flying B-24 Liberators. Attributed to 1st Lieutenant Theodore Guzik Co-pilot. Known to fly 44-40763 “I’ll get By”. This jacket was published in The Art of the Flight Jacket by Conway/Maguire.

Operations: Flew 396 combat missions across Europe and North Africa, making it the most traveled and most active B-24 group in the Eighth Air Force.
