WWII South African Air Force Grouping
Here we have a small grouping to a SAAF Spitfire Pilot who was lost on 30th December 1943.
Captain Dennis Stuart Waugh SAAF.
15/6/1942 Lt Waugh was wounded in the legs by an AA shell over Tobruk, landed and was taken to Tobruk hospital.
Dennis recovered and posted back to squadron and was killed in action on a follow up tour.
