The 3rd Infantry Division (nicknamed the "Rock of the Marne" is a United States Army infantry division based at Fort Stewart, Georgia. It is a direct subordinate unit of the XVIII Airborne Corps and U.S. Army Forces Command. Its current organization includes three brigade combat teams, one aviation brigade, a division artillery and support elements.  read more

A good used patch, heavy embroidered, scarce variation with the scar on cheek, removed from album, slight marks to back.

Deployed to the Pacific Theatre in April 1944, spent the war in Hawaii and did not see combat.  read more
