The 3rd Infantry Division (nicknamed the "Rock of the Marne" is a United States Army infantry division based at Fort Stewart, Georgia. It is a direct subordinate unit of the XVIII Airborne Corps and U.S. Army Forces Command. Its current organization includes three brigade combat teams, one aviation brigade, a division artillery and support elements.  read more

WWII 1941 Dated British Marching Compass MkIII

An early war standard issue British Army marching compass maker marked on the rear T.G.Co Ltd London, with broad arrow stamp and dated 1941.

The compass works and points North but is dry and the mother of pearl is no longer present on the dial. This is how it came and can be restored. Lots of info on the web.  read more
